My name is Polina Nazariti, and I’m a professional rising artist from Finland. I came from a dynasty of professional artists and craftsmen. I specialize in a wide variety of art techniques, including acrylic paints, watercolors, paper-mâché, mixed media and digital art. Art is not my hobby or my job. It is my way of being.
5 years ago I started to actively practice art therapy. First trying everything out on myself of course.
Immigration, divorce, climbing out of depression – it was not easy. For sure, I wouldn’t have been able to manage without practicing art therapy.
The results of my personal experiments you can see in these two art series: “Where am I?” and “The only way”.
“For a long time, I was scared to try.
To truly try. I was frozen with fear no matter what I was busy with:
work, relationships, self-care.
No more.”

For me, going to a psychologist or psychiatrist is like going to the dentist to treat an aching tooth. Art therapy is more like taking care of your mouth, to reduce the chance of inflammation or tooth decay.
To have a healthy working self-care routine, a person needs to know what actions to take, when and why.
My workshops show you a way to easily adopt art therapy practice into your everyday life. Create a healthy emotional routine for yourself.
My exercises do not consume big amounts of time and do not require expensive art tools.
